• Reviewer — Seeding the Future Global Food System Challenge (2025 & 2026): Selected as a reviewer for the internationally recognized Seeding the Future Global Food System Challenge organized in collaboration with IFT and the Seeding the Future Foundation. In this role, I evaluated global innovation proposals focused on food security, sustainability, biotechnology, and transformative food system technologies.
• Lead Judge — “From Byproduct to Platform” Student Hackathon (IFT): Served as Lead Judge for an IFT student innovation hackathon focused on upcycled food systems and sustainable ingredient innovation. The role involved evaluating technical feasibility, scientific rigor, scalability, and real-world commercialization potential of student-led biotechnology concepts.
• Reviewer — IFT FIRST Scientific Program & Session Proposals (2026): Selected as a scientific reviewer for IFT FIRST, one of the world’s largest food technology and research conferences. Responsibilities included evaluating scientific session proposals and helping curate the technical program for the international conference.
• Technical Research Paper Reviewer — IFT FIRST Research Showcase (2026): Served as reviewer for technical research paper submissions associated with IFT FIRST, assessing scientific quality, innovation, technical relevance, and industry impact across emerging food science and biotechnology research areas.
