I am an Engineering and Operations leader working at the intersection of food biotechnology, process engineering, and sustainable manufacturing.
As Head of Operations & Engineering at Nuritas, I lead global efforts focused on scaling AI-derived bioactive ingredients from scientific discovery to commercial manufacturing. Over the past decade, my career has focused on translating emerging biotechnology into scalable and commercially viable manufacturing systems across the food, nutrition, and biotechnology industries.
I have held leadership and engineering roles at Nuritas, Air Protein, and Kerry, contributing to technologies ranging from AI-derived functional ingredients and sustainable gas fermentation platforms to large-scale fermentation systems, immune-health ingredients, and clean-label food protection technologies.
My work combines biotechnology commercialization, process scale-up, operational strategy, and industrial manufacturing with a strong focus on sustainability, product quality, and long-term industrial impact.
Beyond industry leadership, I actively contribute to the broader scientific and professional community through reviewing, judging, publications, mentorship, and technical engagement initiatives. I currently serve as Chair Designate of the Biotechnology Division of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and as a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science & Technology (FIFST).
Through my work, I aim to help bridge scientific innovation with real-world industrial implementation and contribute to the advancement of scalable biotechnology platforms that support healthier and more sustainable global food systems.
